Bugatti T32 #11 Tours GP 1923. Baron Pedro de Vizcayal.

Once is not customary, LE MANS miniatures makes a small driving deviation to go back to the origin with this Bugatti T32, developed especially for the Speed Tours GP which takes place just one month after the first edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Grand Prix.

The aerodynamics of this new car are amazing. It will soon be called "the tank" with its enveloping shapes. The car is not as successful as Ettore Bugatti would have liked. And despite the supremacy of Sunbeam and Fiat, the T32 #6 still finishes in 3rd place.

Each car is driven by its driver assisted by a mechanic 8 different figures for the 4 cars engaged and reproduced. A multitude of gills and rivets with subtle patina covers this atypical and raw envelope.

Particular attention was paid to the details on the crankshaft and the rear bonnet attachment, for example.

For the first time at 1/32, we use 3D printing for the production of the chassis.

We will find remnants of this drawing taken by Jean much later at Bugatti at the forefront of other races.
